Broadfording holds graduation

Broadfording Christian Academy's graduation was May 27 at Broadfording Bible Brethren Church.

The service opened with the presentation of colors, followed by "Pomp & Circumstance," led by teacher Susan Watson.

The valedictorians were Anjoli and Aurielle Rowe. Briana Miller was salutatorian. Rob Culler gave a speech and William H. Freed Jr. gave out diplomas. After being awarded their diplomas, seniors walked down the aisle to "Who Am I?" by Casting Crowns during the passing of the torch ceremony.

Interests and activities include psychology, tutoring at a local middle school and at Hagerstown Community College, missions trips, BCA student leadership team and ice skating.

Anjoli plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the fall to study psychology, and later to attend graduate school for a doctorate in psychology.

Interests and activities include biology, volunteering at the Washington County Hospital emergency room, missions trips, BCA student leadership team and ice skating.

Aurielle plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh in the fall to study biology as a pre-medicine major, and to later attend medical school.
