Corbiser-Bell

Diana R. Bell and Scott C. Corbiser were united in Holy Matrimony on May 2, 2009, at Johnsontown Bible Church in Hedgesville, W.Va. Dr. Jack Rudy performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Deborah Bell of Martinsburg. The groom is the son of Atta Corbiser of Martinsburg and the late Roger Corbiser.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white satin A-line dress with cap sleeves, chiffon split front and metallic embroidery with a chapel-length train and veil. She wore a necklace from her grandmother, Wilma French. She carried a bouquet of yellow peonies, calla lilies and dried lavender tied with sheer organza ribbon and pearl wrap accents. Included in the bouquet was a handkerchief of the bride's late grandmother, Pearl Bell, and a necklace given to her by the late Roger Corbiser.

Matron of honor was Tara Viands, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Megan Corbiser and Angela Cooper, friends of the bride; and Bobbi Cook, April Corbiser and Carrie Bentz, sisters of the groom. They wore two-piece satin dresses in dark purple and carried bouquets of yellow peonies and dried lavender tied with sheer organza ribbon.

Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Viands, niece of the bride, who wore a canary-yellow satin dress. Flower girl was Sadie Bentz, niece of the groom. She wore a white satin dress with jacket and carried a white basket of dark purple flower petals.

The groom wore a black pinstriped suit with a white tie. Best man was Pastor Brad Tenney, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Edmond Corbiser, brother of the groom; Daniel Bell, brother of the bride; Jamie Viands, brother-in-law of the bride; and Dennis Carter and John Goltz Jr., nephews of the groom. Junior groomsman was Dustin Tenney, son of the best man. All wore black suits with dark purple ties.

Ring bearer was Andrew Bentz, nephew of the groom. He wore a black suit with a white tie.

Mother of the bride wore a cream-colored flowered dress with a pink sweater. Mother of the groom wore a purple flowered dress.

Organist was Amanda Lewis. Pianist was Valerie Welch. Vocalists were Valinda Bishop and Dr. Jim and Vicki Bishop.

Sara Godlove, friend of the bride, attended the photo signature mat. Sierra Berry, friend of the bride, handed out programs. Flowers were designed and arranged by Megan Corbiser.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. The three-tiered white cake, set atop columns and a water fountain and adorned with calla lilies, peonies and lilacs, was made by Kathy Landis, friend of the bride.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Hedgesville High School and a 2002 graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in communications. She is employed as an admissions fulfillment coordinator with American Public University System in Charles Town.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Hedgesville High School and attended Crown College. He is employed as a technician with Safelite AutoGlass in Hagerstown and is a member of the 167th Airlift Wing of the West Virginia Air National Guard in Martinsburg.

After a honeymoon in Ocean City, Md., the couple resides in Hedgesville.
