Antietam Health Services, Washington County Hospital

Elaine R. Lutz of Antietam Health Services and Debra L. James of Washington County Hospital attended the 29th annual conference of the American Holistic Nurses Association in Madison, Wis.

James has been a member of the association for five years and serves on the research committee.

Lutz has been a member of the association for 12 years. She has presented educational sessions and leads a morning movement session each year.

The Golden M Company

Jamie Rohrer recently was recognized by the Golden M Company of Hagerstown for her 10 years of service with McDonald's.

Rohrer works at the Hagerstown Commons fast-food restaurant at 1737 Dual Highway in Hagerstown.

Columbia Gas

CANONSBURG, Pa. - M. Carol Fox has been named president of Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and Columbia Gas of Maryland, companies that serve about 446,000 natural gas customers in 29 counties.


Fox most recently was senior vice president of customer engagement for NiSource, where she was responsible for the functions of gas distribution companies in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Ohio and Virginia.

Fox holds professional memberships with the Ohio Gas Association, the Association for Iron and Steel Technology, the American Gas Association and the Women's International Network of Utility Professionals.

Harley-Davidson of Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT - Jeff Davis has been named manager at Harley-Davidson of Williamsport, where he will be responsible for the daily operations of running the store.

Harley-Davidson of Williamsport has six full-time and two part-time employees.

Davis worked at Twigg Cycles of Hagerstown for 20 years, 14 of them as general manager.

Alternative Drug & Alcohol Counseling

Jay Cutler, assistant director of Alternative Drug & Alcohol Counseling in Hagerstown, recently attended two training sessions.

Cutler participated in "Real Men Don't Ask for Help: Treating Men in Life's Second Half" and "Counseling for Couples: Understanding and Improving Love Relationships."

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

GREECASTLE, Pa. - Scott Palmer and James Stoneham of Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA were recognized as agents of the month for April and May in the Greencastle office.

The award is based on the number of listings taken, sales made and closed sales, as well as attendance at Realtor functions and completion of continuing education classes.

Palmer is an associate broker who has been selling real estate for 23 years.

Stoneham recently completed training and is licensed to sell real estate in Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Partners in Pediatrics

Dr. Bruce E. Weneck of Partners in Pediatrics in Hagerstown recently attended a weeklong seminar titled "General Dermatology."

Seminar topics included teenage acne, tick bites and ringworm.

Weneck has been a board-certifed pediatrician since 1983.

Maryland Correctional Training Center

Social worker Kamala Hall has been named Employee of the Month for July at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.

Hall was nominated for taking the initiative to develop contacts with an organization that links released offenders with community resources and for arranging an interdepartmental presentation by a representative of the organization.

Hall has worked at MCTC since Jan. 7, 2008.
