Hagerstown City Park band shell, the 2009 Gospel in the Park summer concerts will be Wednesdays at 7 p.m. By Faith, with soloist Harry Ryan, will perform July 15.

Doub's Woods Arts Pavilion, 1307 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, The Morning Star 24th anniversary concert will be today from 1 p.m. to dusk. Performers include Curtis Huyler and Jubilation, The Heavners, Gospel Strings Bluegrass, Nancy Wiles and Jessy Snyder, Morning Star Singers and others. Bring lawn chairs. Food will be available. A $6 donation is suggested.

Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, 17904 Binkley Ave., Driven For Him, a local Southern gospel ladies trio, will perform Sunday at 7 p.m.

Williamsport United Methodist Church, 25 E. Church St., the choral group WitnesSing will perform Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Bedford Chapel, Warfordsburg, Pa., Driven for Him, a Southern gospel ladies trio, will perform Saturday, July 18, at 4 p.m. at a hymn sing with various other groups. Bring lawn chairs.

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, a gospel sing on Saturday, July 18, from 2 to 6 p.m. will feature Harry Ryan, Down Home Gospel Singers, Fertile Soil and Hilltop Gospel Boys. There will be activities for children. There will be a pig and corn roast meal at 4 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for ages 5 to 12. Call 301-791-5432.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Potomac Street and Randolph Avenue, Hagerstown, on Sunday, July 19, a special musical presentation will highlight the 9:45 a.m. service. An ensemble of 15 area musicians from various churches will perform secular songs with a theological theme, including "Full Force Gale" by Van Morrison. Pastor Eric Norgard will provide the message.
