GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Tyler Moore and Charlie Fermiant each homered to key Hagerstown's seven-run third inning to lift the Suns to an 8-1 victory over Greensboro.
Moore hit a three-run homer, his fifth, and Fermiant added a two-run shot two batters later to make it an easy victory for starting pitcher Marcos Frias.
Frias pitched six innings, allowing one unearned run on five hits, while striking out six. Justin Philibaum pitched the final three innings for the save.
The Suns (4-11) sent 12 hitters to the plate in the third. Steve Lombardozzi reached on an error and Derek Norris walked to set up Moore's homer to left off starter Graham Evans.
