MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mary Louise Adams, 63, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at City Hospital.

Born Oct. 4, 1945, she was the daughter of Hazel Edith (Miles) Bonham of Falling Waters and the late Houston Allen Bonham.

Mary worked for the National Institutes of Health as a program assistant for 30 years and was a member of Independent Bible Church, where she served as a member of the Caregivers, Senior Saints and Berean Ladies Class.


In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bonham; and two nephews, Ricky Presley and Robert Cox.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Adams and husband Eric and Kim Curtis, all of Martinsburg; two brothers, Ben Bonham of Pennington Gap, Va., and David Bonham of Point Pleasant, N.J.; four sisters, Ann Banks of Strasburg, Pa., Jeanna Krovich of St. Charles, Va., Lila Presley of Falling Waters and Bonnie Eskenazi of Rockville, Md.; seven grandchildren, Kylie, Anthony, Christopher, Andrew, Devin, Abigail and Alexander; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Lee Fowler.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009, at Rosedale Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Independent Bible Church with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg.
