Suns' bats stay hot

HICKORY, N.C. -- For the second night in a row, the Hagerstown Suns hit four homers and scored double-digit runs as they beat the Hickory Crawdads 12-7 on Tuesday.

The Suns blanked Hickory 10-0 on Monday.

Derek Norris hit a pair of two-run homers for the Suns on Tuesday, giving him a league-high 20 homers on the season.

Robby Jacobsen and Charlie Fermaint also homered for Hagerstown.

Steve Lombardozzi and Valerio Heredia each had three of the Suns' 15 hits. Lombardozzi had a triple, two doubles and two RBIs.

Starter Paul Demny (2-7) went 5 1/3 innings for the win. He allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks, while striking out four.
