Suns get rare win

HICKORY, N.C. -- Leadoff hitter Stephen Lombardozzi went 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBIs to lead the Hagerstown Suns to a 10-0 win over the Hickory Crawdads on Monday night.

It was only the Suns' second win in 12 games in the second half of the season.

Starter Hassan Pena (1-0) and relievers Kevin Light and Osvaldo Rodriguez combined on a six-hit shutout for Hagerstown.

Derek Norris and Steven Souza also homered for the Suns. Norris also doubled and finished with three RBIs.

Charlie Fermaint and Travis Reagan each had two of the Suns' 12 hits.

Hagerstown scored eight runs over the final three innings.
