Delaplaine to discuss plan



FREDERICK, Md. - Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center will hold round table discussions about its new five-year plan.

Each round table will be facilitated by a member of the board of directors. Each one has a primary topic, but other topics can be brought up. Classes will be discussed at noon Monday, July 6; and operations and the facility will be discussed at 6 p.m. Monday, July 6.

Apollo to hold 'Evita' auditions



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Apollo Civic Theatre will hold auditions for "Evita" from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the theater, 128 E. Martin St.

Roles are available for three principal men, two principal women plus a large chorus. Bring sheet music or accompanying CD. For ages 16 and older.

The show will run Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 27.

Chorus seeks new members



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Freedom Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines welcomes guests to its rehearsals 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave.

The chorus is under the direction of Dawne Veet of Middletown, Pa.
