St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. Music will be provided by the summer choir at the later service. Sunday school resumes in the fall. An adult forum on holy communion is at 9 a.m.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming will speak Sunday at the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. communion services on "With One Foot in Heaven." Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Eric Norgard is preacher and presider Sunday at the 8:30 a.m. worship in the sanctuary and praise worship at 9:45 a.m. in fellowship hall. Georgia Newman is lay assisting minister. Sunday school resumes in the fall.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney will speak Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. communion service on "We Remember." Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, the Rev. Steve Burdette and the congregation will hold services Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on "The Power of God." Services are at Steve's Studio, 13194 Monterry Lane, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.

Tri-State Fellowship, Pastor Randy Buchman will speak Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. classic service and the 11 a.m. bridge service on "The Uncommon Common Life: Relationships in the Family of Faith." The children's summer program, "Boomerang Express," will not be held Sunday. A picnic will be at 4 p.m. and a talent show at 6:30 p.m. at Doub's Woods Park.

New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Highway and Beaver Creek Road, Pastor Mark Snyder will speak Sunday at 11 a.m. on "America's Only Hope." Music will be provided by LeAnne Snyder. Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m. AWANA resumes in the fall. Wednesday Bible study of Romans is at 7 p.m.

Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville, Md., the theme of Sunday's 10:30 a.m. worship service is "Meditations on Christian Patriotism". Summer Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.
