Basset hound benefit

BOONSBORO - Sunday, July 5, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. Petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, all-breed dog fun show and costume contest, reptile show, bake sale, concessions, and more. Microchipping and nail clipping available for dogs. All dogs must be leashed and up-to-date on rabies vaccinations. Cost to enter a dog is $3 per class or $20 for entire show. All proceeds benefit BROOD, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality medical care and adoption services to homeless basset hound dogs.
