Art gallery hosts Chicago-based artist Lucy Liu

Contemporary School for the Arts & Gallery in Hagerstown hosted a reception June 27 for Chicago artist Lucy Liu.

Local master artist Dan Cumpata introduced Liu to the gallery.

At the reception, Liu was introduced to State Sen. Donald Munson, R-Washington, Washington County Commissioner John Barr and Washington County Historical Society Director Jim Neville, as well as other guests.

Approximately 50 people attended the exhibit, which runs through Friday. The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

The gallery is at 4 W. Franklin St. in Hagerstown.

Ron Lytle, gallery founder, said this is just the first of many artists of this caliber he plans to bring to the community.
