'Krab and Karaoke' event to benefit charities

The "Krab and Karaoke" Dance Party will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Hager Hall Conference and Event Center at 901 Dual Highway in Hagerstown.

Tickets cost $45 and includes all-you-can-eat food and drink. The menu includes crabs, fried chicken, corn on the cob, garden salad, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls, hush puppies, assorted desserts, tea, water, soda and draft beer.

A cash bar will be available.

You must be 21 to attend.

Proceeds benefit participating nonprofits based on your vote for your favorite agency.

The nonprofit agencies include Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, Community Free Clinic, Breast Cancer Awareness - Cumberland Valley and Habitat for Humanity Women Build.

A 50/50 raffle will be held.

The event is hosted by the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Penn National Insurance and NBC 25.
