The robber -- who demanded and received an unknown quantity of Oxycontin painkiller -- showed no weapon, police said.

The assailant was described as a mixed-race man, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, with a 5 o'clock shadow, wearing a black T-shirt with a long-sleeve red shirt underneath, blue jeans and a ball cap with a red "M".

He had a diamond earring in his right ear, police said.

The robbery occurred at 8:44 p.m. at the pharmacy in the Village Square Shopping Center store at 22411 Jefferson Blvd.
