Rabies clinic



MERCERSBURG, Pa. - The Antietam Humane Society in Waynesboro, Pa., will hold a rabies clinic from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at the MMP&W Fire Company, 132 N. Main St., Mercersburg.

Dogs and cats 3 months of age and older may be vaccinated for $8 each. Proof of previous vaccination is required to be eligible for a three-year rabies vaccine; otherwise a one-year vaccine will be given. All animals should be on a leash or in a carrier.

CPR for health-care providers



BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Morgan County War Memorial Hospital will offer the American Heart Association's CPR for health-care providers course from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at War Memorial Hospital.

The course is designed for licensed health-care providers who need to obtain or renew their CPR certification. A fee is charged for the course. Class size is limited so advance registration is required. For information or to register, call Paul Cooper at 304-258-6577.

Hospice volunteer program



Hospice of Washington County Inc. has scheduled a summer volunteer training program. The course will be offered from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays July 14 to 30. The first session in each is an overview of the hospice concept of care and is open to the public.
