FREDERICK, Md. -- Frederick swept a Western Maryland District doubleheader with Funkstown on Sunday, winning the first game 15-5 and the second game 6-3.
Tim Jacobson and Brandon Knight each had an RBI double and Tim Leather had an RBI single for Funkstown in the first game.
Tyeler Presgraves had two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs for Funkstown (6-3, 5-3) in the second game, while Todd Jacobson added two hits.
Frederick improved to 9-2 (4-0).
