Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, a contemporary communion service with an informal approach to worship begins at 9 a.m. Sunday and a traditional communion worship is at 11 a.m. Pastor Ed Poling will speak on Finding God in the Everyday - Connection. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m.

St. John's Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Ed Heim will speak at the 8 and 11 a.m. worship services Sunday on The Key is Presence. Music by St. John's men's choirs at the early service and Robert Crawford and Kayla Shaffer at the later service. Courtyard worship at 9:30 a.m. features Heim in a dialogue with the Apostle Paul. Music by the New Spirit Praise Band. Mid-Week Joy is Wednesday at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bob Royal.

Highland View Seventh-day Adventist Church, today at 11 a.m., Pastor Vladimir Corea will speak on the topic, Sold Into Slavery. Small group Bible study begins at 9:45 a.m. and Vibrant Bible classes for children of all ages also are available.

Broadfording Bible Brethren Church, Pastor Bill Wyand will speak on the topic, Struggling with God, Part 2, at the 10 a.m. service Sunday. Sunday Kids, Adult and Teen Life Groups at 9 a.m. Wednesday activities at 7 p.m.

Salem Lutheran Church, 17626 Bakersville Road, Fairplay, Pastor John Torrence's topic Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. communion service is Never Give Up. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

New Life Christian Ministries, Clear Spring, Pastor Ken Harris will speak at the 10 a.m. service Sunday on A Father's Legacy.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, the 10 a.m. service Sunday will be led by the Rev. Renee Mackey on the topic, The Volunteer.

Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Rick Remmers' topic today at 11 a.m. is Kids in Discipleship. Sabbath school at 9:30 a.m.

Potomac Charge, United Methodist churches of Big Pool, the Rev. Scott Summers will speak on What's My Motivation? Mount Carmel services are at 8:50 a.m. with Sunday school at 10; Park Head worships at 11 with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. St. Paul's which begins at 9:50 a.m. with Sunday school at 11:15.
