Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Len Smith will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday on the topic, Atlas or Jesus. Marian Noble is worship leader. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Bible study at 6:45 p.m. Noble will speak at the 6 p.m. praise and worship service on the topic, Faith that Works. Pizza will be served. Wednesday Bible study begins at 6:45 p.m.

St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Pastor Mike Henning will deliver the message, Godly Men Are A Blessing, at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. communion services Sunday. Fathers and graduates will be recognized. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Ringgold Church of Christ, Don Conley, senior minister, will speak at the 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. The topic is Dad - What Does He Know? in the family values sermon series. Sunday school at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Wednesday programs for youth and children resume in the fall.


Maranatha Brethren Church, Pastor Ron Shank will give the message, A Father's Love, Sunday at 10:55 a.m. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. Teen celebration at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Wednesday family night activities at 7 p.m.

Christian Science Society, the topic Sunday at 10:30 a.m. will be Is the Universe, Including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force? Sunday school for young people up to age 20 meets at 10:30 a.m. during worship. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. The Reading Room at 235 N. Potomac St. is open one hour before and after services.

Blair's Valley First Church of God, Sunday at 10:45 a.m., William Byers will speak at the Father's Day service. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., including young adults class. Sunday evening service at 7. Wednesday adult Bible study and Awana at 6:45 p.m.

St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Williamsport, the Rev. Mark Sandell will preach a Father's Day sermon at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m.

Unitarian Universalist Church, 13245 Cearfoss Pike, guest speaker Mina Greenfield will be sharing how the Southeastern Unitarian Universalist Summer Institute rekindles her faith and spirit every year at 10:45 a.m. with fellowship and refreshments following at noon. This year, the children's religious education classes, which also begin at 10:45 a.m., will be using the Holidays and Holy Days curriculum about all the world religions.

Downsville Church of the Brethren, Sunday at 10:35 a.m., Pastor Wilkie Nunn will speak on Daddy's Hands. Wayne Fisher is the worship leader. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

St. Paul's Reformed Church, east of Clear Spring, Pastor John Toms will speak on Abide with Me at 11 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.

St. Paul's Free Lutheran Church of Leitersburg, Ted Rascha will preach at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday based on the 15th chapter of John. Christian education at 9:15 a.m.

St. James Brethren Church, Pastor Ben Pippen's topic Sunday is Tell It Slant: Openness at the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Sunday school at 9:15 a.m.

St. John's Lutheran Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Jim Riley Jr. will speak at 8:30 and 11 a.m. communion services Sunday. Parents Day will be observed at Sunday school at 9:45 a.m.

Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Harald Bjerga will speak on God, the Strong Creator, in the Name It, Claim It series at the 10:15 a.m. worship service Sunday. Sunday school at 9 a.m. Family fun night will feature a car cruise-in Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Hilltop Christian Fellowship, 9508 National Pike, Big Pool, coffee and fellowship at 8:30 a.m. features the topic, How Could God Allow Suffering and Evil? The Rev. Dennis Whitmore will speak at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday on The Man's Place is in the Home. Sunday school begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday Bible study at 7 p.m. on The Book of Romans.
