Did you know?

Did you know that back in the good old days, glassmakers could not make big pieces of glass? You used to be able to tell the age of a house by the size of its windows. That's why a house had nine panes over nine panes and so on. The newer the house, the fewer panes a window would have.

Of course, this no longer holds true because people like the look of many panes in the window so even a new house can have a lot of pane. I guess the old saying, "Everything that was old is new again" is true.
