GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The Borough of Greencastle will again give residents the opportunity to throw away bulky items this October.
Residents can drop off bulky items during the weekend of Oct. 2 and 3 at the borough's public works facility at 40 Mifflin Lane near the Jerome King Playground.
This will be the last fall residents can drop off bulky items at the borough for disposal, Manager Ken Womack said.
The borough will move Bulky Item Drop Off Day to the spring starting in 2010, he said.
Many residents expressed an interest in moving the day to the spring when they do more cleaning, he said.
