The 38th annual West Virginia Mountain Heritage Arts & Crafts Festival takes place in Jefferson County this weekend.

Three bluegrass bands will perform Saturday and Sunday. About 180 vendors will show crafts ranging from art glass to woodwork to leather to folk art.

Admission to the festival costs $1 more than it did last year, but on the festival Web site ( ), $1-off coupon is provided. The Web site also lists craft vendors, some with Web links, and a schedule of band performances.

In addition to the entertainment, children's activities including face painting and a moonbounce will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.
