Lucetta Mae Marquart, 90, of 11400 Stonecroft Court, Hagerstown, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Oct. 7, 1918, in Shady Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James Rankin Butterbaugh and Elnora May Stumbaugh Butterbaugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Vernon Marquart, on June 17, 2000.

She was a longtime member of First Brethren Church, recently a member of Gateway Brethren Fellowship. She was a 50-year member and past matron of Hagerstown Chapter 89 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Jean L. Semler of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Linda M. Weddle of Hagerstown; one son, Robert C. Marquart of Hagerstown; one sister, Ruth Bair, and one brother, Rankin J. Butterbaugh, both of Lancaster County, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Vernon Marquart and Maynard Marquart; two sisters, Rhoda Grams and Alverta Robinson; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Hagerstown Chapter 89 will conduct a memorial service Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
