Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Cats

Young DSH, black and gray, found on Maugansville Road.

Adult DSH, black and tan, found on Maugansville Road.

Adult DSH, orange and white, found at Fort Frederick State Park campground.

Adult DMH, gray, found on Marsh Pike.

Adult DMH, gray and charcoal, found on Wolfpack Way.

Dogs

Adult shepherd mix, black and tan, found on Interstate 70, two miles south of Exit 66.

Adult pit bull mix, brown and white, found on Stratford Avenue.
