Army Pvt. Devon M. Emanuelson, daughter of Jennifer Emanuelson of Keedysville, graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Emanuelson is a 2008 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

Army National Guard Pvt. David K. Loudin, son of Richard Loudin and Mary Loudin, both of Williamsport, graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Kenneth M. Washington, a 2004 graduate of Martinsburg (W.Va.) High School, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

Civilian Kaytie E. Kimble, daughter of Karla L. and Daniel R. Kimble of Greencastle, Pa., recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District, Pittsburgh.


Kimble will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy's Recruit Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.

Air Force Capt. Robert B. Lamott, son of James R. Lamott and stepson of Kathryn J. Lamott, both of Frederick, Md., graduated from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Engineering and Management at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.

Lamott earned a master's of science degree in electrical engineering.

His wife, Jennifer, is the daughter of Daniel D. and Linda J. Hamlin of King George, Va.

Lamott graduated in 1999 from Quince Orchard High School, Gaithersburg, Md., and earned a bachelor's degree in 2004 from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Va.
