Saturday barbecue to benefit Crime Solvers



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The fifth annual Franklin County Crime Solvers barbecue will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Dilly's Restaurant on U.S. 30.

Tickets may be purchased for $6.50 each. Proceeds are used as reward money for Crime Solvers cases.

Dinner includes half a chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, roll and butter.

Summer day-school sessions planned at Wilson College



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The annual Summer Enrichment and Exploration Day School (SEEDS) at Wilson College will be held June 15 to 19 and July 13 to 17.

Sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. daily, and are open to those in kindergarten through grade six.

With 24 classes to choose from, there is something to interest every child, including archery, science, art, pet care, sign language, gardening, photography and guitar.

Participants will attend two classes each morning.

Parents should drop children off and pick them up at Laird Hall.

The cost of each week-long SEEDS camp is $105 per child. A family plan also is available.
