Amanda Maria Apple, 94, of Baltimore, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, where an Eastern Star memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Private burial will be in Greenway Cemetery.
