Bridge club results

Nine pairs competed Friday, May 29, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club. Elaine Rowe and Kathy Goss came in first in Flight A with a 63.89-percent game. Dick and Lois Taylor were second in Flight A with 56.94 percent, and Frank and Anne Carden were third in Flight A with 55.56 percent. Debbie and Scott Kiser placed fourth in Flight A and first in Flights B and C with 49.31 percent, and Sara Hoyle and Alan Brown finished second in Flight B with 47.92 percent.

As of May 31, David Abuhove is first in the annual masterpoint race with 14.39 points. Dick and Lois Taylor are tied for second place with 12.56, and Anne Carden is in fourth place with 11.36. Frank Carden is fifth place with 9.58 masterpoints, and Scott and Debbie Kiser are tied for sixth place with 8.69 points. Elaine Rowe is in eighth place with 8.12, and Tom Janus is in ninth place with 7.94. Bill and Madeline Davis are tied for tenth place with 7.61 masterpoints.

The Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at American Legion Post 42 on Northern Avenue. All bridge players are welcome. The Club will participate in the annual World Wide Bridge Game on Friday, June 5. Hands will be predealt, and hand records will be available after the game.
