Greencastle woman faces heroin charge

GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- A Greencastle, Pa. woman was charged with drug crimes in May after a joint investigation by the Franklin County Drug Task Force and Greencastle Police Department.

The woman delivered heroin to an undercover officer, Greencastle police alleged.

Michelle R. Brant, 19, of Greencastle, Pa., was charged with delivery of heroin and criminal use of a communication device, police said in a news release.

Deputies looking for missing Sharpsburg teen

The Washington County Sheriff's Department is looking for help finding a 15-year-old girl who was last seen at her Sharpsburg home on South Church Street Friday at 7:45 a.m., according to the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's department was contacted about the runaway case at 8:14 p.m. Friday, according to a press release.

The missing girl, Shannon Elizabeth Fielder, is described as white and was last seen wearing a black and white hoodie, blue jeans and gray flip-flops, the release said.

Trees, tubes damaged at Renfrew Park

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Young trees were damaged at Renfrew Park recently, Washington Township police said in a news release.

The damage to 75 trees was discovered on May 26 close to the property line with the Waynesboro Area School District, police said.

Wooden stakes and tree tubes were also damaged.
