Church plans Low Country Boil to benefit nonprofits

The Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown will hold a Low Country Boil dinner Saturday, June 13, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Wright farm, 15544 Dellinger Road, Williamsport.

The dinner is a mix of shrimp, kielbasa (sausage), corn on the cob, and potatoes boiled in a mild Old Bay seasoning (extra served on the side).

The food will be served from 6 to 8 p.m. Sodas and water will be included or BYOB.

Other activities will include music, horse-pulled wagon rides and fellowship.

The event will be held rain or shine.

All proceeds go to support Boy Scouts, Coalition of Christian Outreach, Habitat for Humanity and REACH.

Tickets cost $20 per person or $35 per couple.
