St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The parish choir will sing at the later service. Sunday school resumes in the fall. An adult forum on Wade in the Water, a theological look at baptism, is at 9 a.m.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, members of the congregation will present a dramatic reading called Earth, Fire and Spirit at the 8:15 a.m. communion service and 10:30 a.m. worship/communion service. Music by the Praise Singers at the 10:30 service. Sunday school at 9:15 a.m.
