May 27, 2009

ANNAPOLIS - Gov. Martin O'Malley invites teams made up of a chef and one or more farmer, waterman, or producer to submit recipes using local ingredients for Maryland's annual "Buy Local Cook Out" contest.

Recipes that represent Maryland's best bounty will be awarded in six categories - appetizer; main dish; side dish or salad; dessert; beverage; and table decorations.
