Doris Jeanette Durbin, 81, of 17812 College Road, Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, May 25, 2009, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, Boonsboro, Md.

She was born Oct. 6, 1927, in Hagerstown, Md., to the late Theodore Martin and Helen Irene Marshall Myers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wishard Durbin, on Feb. 9, 2009.

She was a housewife. She was a stockholder of Hagerstown Block Co.

She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church.

She was also a member of AARP.

Survivors include son, Allan Richard Durbin and his wife, Carroline, of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Marlin Lynwood Durbin and his wife, Sally, of Fairplay, Md.; sister, Delores Sowers of Smithsburg, Md.; sister, Gloria Sneckenberger of Hagerstown; brother, Vernon Myers of Hagerstown; brother, Wayne Myers of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Warren Keith Durbin; three sisters Joyce Hill, Irene Swartz and Beatrice Lowry; and one brother, Jim Myers.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Thursday, May 28, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dale Carver and Pastor Gerald Carbaugh officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
