MIDDLETOWN, Md. -- Reba M. Hill, 95, formerly of Hancock, Md., and a resident of Homewood and Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, Md., died Friday, May 22, 2009.
Born April 2, 1914, in Warfordsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Willard and Belva Akers Palmer.
She was the widow of Thurman L. Hill, who died Nov. 19, 1992.
Reba was a 1932 graduate of Warfordsburg High School and a 1935 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
She was a retired nurse and had been employed with pediatrics as assistant supervisor in Philadelphia, Pa. She also had been employed by Berkeley Springs (W.Va.) Hospital while raising her family.
