Word of Truth Outreach Ministries, are each Sunday this summer from 1 to 3 p.m. Books are distributed, along with help with medications, housing, school supplies and food. Sunday's event is at the Hagerstown City Park bandshell.

Tibetan Meditation Center, 9301 Gambrill Park Road, Frederick, the 14th annual spring retreat begins today and continues to Sunday, June 7. Founder Khenchen Konchok Gyatlshen Rinpoche and others will teach.

Evangelical Lutheran Church, 130 N. Washington St., Greencastle, Pa., dairy farmers Pam Risser and her husband, Phil, will speak Tuesday, May 26, at 9:30 a.m. Pam Risser and her daughters will sing at the event sponsored by the Greencastle-Antrim Women's Fellowship.
