House to attend Rotary leadership program

Hannah House of Clear Spring High School has been selected to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program. The conference will be held at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa., June 14 to 17.

The Hagerstown (Downtown) Rotary Club will sponsor Hannah.

At Clear Spring High School, she is involved with the student government association, serves as a reporter for the Future Farmers of America, is involved with the Future Business Leaders of America, the Huyetts 4-H Club and has been active in sports, including volleyball, basketball and track. She has a 4.1 grade-point average..

"RYLA would be a great opportunity to meet new people while improving my leadership skills that will aid me in the various clubs, organizations and sports. I am also looking at Juniata College to attend when I graduate so I thought that would be yet another benefit," Hannah said.

The Hagerstown Rotary Club is part of Rotary International's global network of more than 31,000 clubs in 166 countries. Rotary International consists of 1.2 million professionals who volunteer to improve the quality of life in their home and world communities.
