Memorial Day parade

SHARPSBURG --Â Wreath-laying ceremony at 11 a.m. Sharpsburg's Town Hall. Rohrersville Band performs today from 11:45 to 12:15 p.m. Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. at Sharpsburg Elementary School heads toward Antietam National Cemetery. Commemoration ceremony at 3 p.m. Antietam National Cemetery. Retired Rear Adm. U.S. Navy J. Michael Johnson will speak at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. ceremonies.

Dance performance

Ballet and All That Jazz students will perform ballet, jazz, modern, tap and hip-hop featuring nine senior soloists. Today, 2 and 7 p.m. The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. $5. Youth festival

WAYNESBORO, Pa. --Â A celebration of youth with a variety of workshops, demonstrations, activities, exhibits and entertainment. This year's theme is "Ramblin' Through the Years." Recording artist and songwriter Ray Owen will present "American Odyssey." Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. Renfrew Park, 1010 E. Main St. Free. Advance registration for workshops. Boonsboro parade
