The group started a new team contest where each team earns points for the past week's activities.

On Saturday, some of the members traveled to Westminster, Md., for an officers workshop. A lot of ideas were shared by chapters and area captains.

The chapter meets Thursdays at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 51 S. Main St., Smithsburg. Weigh-in starts at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting is from 6 to 7 p.m.
