Oliver Homes, a quality local home builder for more than 60 years, has introduced the new, exciting and expandable floor plan of The Wallace, a town home located in Farmspring Estates north of Waynesboro, Pa., off Stottlemyer Road.

This is the only town-home community in Waynesboro that includes a private pool, community buildings and playground within walking distance of your new home.

In addition, buyers will want to take advantage of the great Oliver Homes promotion running through May 31 that can provide a total saving of $13,000 to a first-time buyer.

These five-unit buildings are located within minutes of shopping, schools, recreation and entertainment. The future Washington Township Boulevard will run nearby.

The exteriors of these units are covered with attractive brick and siding. The end units have brick fronts and additional windows on the sides.

The Wallace town home is distinctive because of its 24-foot design, allowing for larger rooms throughout.

This 1,742-square-foot town home is larger than other town homes, and can be increased to more than 2,304 square feet with an optional family room and half-bath.

The entry level consists of a large one-car garage, a large foyer, brightened by door sidelights, a coat closet, under-step storage and a convenient exit to the rear lawn.

The rear area of the entry level can easily be finished into a 14-foot-by-14-foot 3-inch recreation room with bath. A 5-foot-wide sliding glass patio door opens to the rear.

Extra wide 42-inch stairs with a landing allow for easy movement of furniture.

The light, bright carpeted great room with 9-foot ceilings reflects a spacious, open design. This room provides plenty of wall space for furniture placement and a half-bath for convenience.

The large country kitchen provides extra storage with tall 42-inch cabinets, a built-in pantry and an optional island with granite countertop. A side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, smooth-top range, microwave/rangehood and dishwasher are included among the appliances. Birch or oak cabinets are available. A 6-foot sliding glass patio door leads to a future deck.

A spacious dining area is conveniently located off the kitchen.

Double doors on the upper level open to the luxury owner's suite with a large walk-in closet, deluxe owner's bath with a double bowl vanity with cultured marble top, a separate oversized soaking tub and a one-piece shower. The new homeowner may choose a vaulted ceiling in the owner's suite.

The 24-foot design allows for larger second and third bedrooms with ample closet space for storage needs. A hall bath with a marble vanity top on a birch cabinet and a tub/shower combination serves the second and third bedrooms.

Large, energy-efficient windows, insulated with low-e glass on each floor, provide great views of the surrounding mountains and rural landscape in every direction. The tilt-out windows permit easy cleaning.

These town homes are heated and cooled with an energy-efficient heat pump and hot-water heater, and are equipped with Oliver Homes' unique manifold water supply system.

The base unit in the Farmspring Estates town homes starts in the mid-$180s.

Through May 31, Oliver Homes will offer $5,000 toward the closing costs on the purchase of a completed town home, and a first-time home buyer may receive a $8,000 tax credit for a total saving of $13,000. This is a limited time offer and subject to change.

Clients must sign an "Agreement of Sale" by May 31, 2009, to receive the $5,000 towards closing.
