St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will lead Sunday's 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. The children, youth and parish choirs will combine and sing at the later service. Sunday School at 9 a.m. includes an adult forum on Wade in the Water, a theological look at Baptism. Also at 9 a.m., there will be a recognition breakfast for those involved in children/youth ministries.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming's message at the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. communion services is Love Builds a House. Sunday school at 9:15 a.m.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, the Rev. Mark Mooney's topic at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service is Agape Love. Mooney and his puppet friends will also give a children's sermon. Sunday school at 10:45 a.m.

First Baptist Church, 15 High St., Hagerstown, Pastor Thom Smith will speak at the 11 a.m. service Sunday on the topic, When You Pray, Don't Play. Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. The community luncheon Monday begins at noon.

Beaver Creek Christian Church, Pastor Rachel Black will give the message at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday. Fellowship follows the service. Sunday school at 9 a.m.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 58 S. 2nd St., Chambersburg, Pa., holy communion at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday school for adults at 9 a.m. and for children at 9:45 a.m., and coffee hour at 11 a.m. Sunday's sermon topic by preacher/celebrant Patrick Pierce is Living the New Commandment.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the topic at the 10 a.m. service is Broken Vows, Part 1. Bible Study for all ages at 9 a.m. The 6 p.m. Sunday service is The Name of the Ministry. Wednesday's service at 7 p.m.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp's message at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday is Flowers and Fruit. Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Grace Brethren Church, 250 Philadelphia Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., the Rev. Larry Weber will speak on Chosen to Believe at 10:40 a.m. Sunday. A Cry in the Wilderness Ministries, the congregation will be holding services at Steve's Studio, 13194 Monterry Lane, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
