Incidents reported to Washington Co. deputies



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded recently to the following incidents, according to Sgt. Roy Harsh:

Thursday, May 14:

o At 10:48 a.m., theft of money from a bank account was reported from the 12000 block of Mapleville Road.

Friday, May 15:

o At 2:07 a.m., theft was reported at Third Base Tavern in Williamsport. Someone took a purse.

o At 4:20 a.m., drug violations were reported in the parking lot of Break Away II Sports Lounge, 13726 Pennsylvania Ave.

Hagerstown Police respond to calls



The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

Friday

o At 1 a.m., drug violations were reported in the 900 block of Lanvale Street.

o At 10:55 a.m., theft was reported in the 300 block of Central Avenue. A blue, 26-inch, 18-speed Next Power Climber was taken.

o At 11:57 a.m., a weapons violation was reported in the unit block of East Washington Street.

Wednesday

o At 1:05 p.m., fraud was reported in the 400 block of Freemont Street.

Tuesday

o At 4:18 p.m., a missing person was returned in the 900 block of Washington Street.

o At 8:53 a.m., breaking and entering was reported in the 20 block of East Lee Street.

o At 10 a.m., stolen property was recovered in the 1400 block of Dual Highway.

o At 10:15 a.m., property was found in the 100 block of West Washington Street. A 22k YG band was found.

o At 10:58 p.m., theft of a purse was reported in the 1700 block of Dual Highway.

o At 11:02 p.m., a purse was found in the 300 block of North Mulberry Street.

o At 11:17 p.m., a black Airsoft-type rifle was recovered in the 12000 block of Little Elliott Drive.

Monday:

o At 8:43 p.m., a second-degree assault was reported in the 17700 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.

o At 9:35 a.m., a missing person was returned in the 60 block of Broadway.

o At 9:39 a.m., counterfeit currency was reported at Central City Liquors, 401 W. Washington St..

o At 10:39 a.m., theft of fishing rods was reported in the 300 block of Merrbaugh Drive.

o At 2:25 p.m., theft of food items was reported at Weis Markets, 31 Eastern Blvd.

o At 6 p.m., burglary was reported in the 900 block of Monet Drive.

o At 6:19 p.m., theft of cigarettes from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Potomac Street.

o At 7:23 p.m., sex offense was reported in the 500 block of George Street.

o At 9:20 p.m., theft of clothing was reported at Wal-Mart, 17850 Garland Groh Blvd.

o At 9:21 p.m., second-degree assault was reported in the 800 block of Mulberry Avenue.

o At 10:44 p.m., burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Potomac Street.
