Pa. girl, 16, foils abduction attempt

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man who attempted to abduct a 16-year-old girl from her residence Wednesday afternoon, police said in a news release.

Police said the unknown male knocked on the door of the Hunter Road home at about 12:35 p.m. Wednesday. When the girl answered, he tried to pull her from the residence but she resisted, the release said. He then fled.

The man is described as light-skinned, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue-collar shirt, a ski mask and gloves, the release said.
