It is hoped that parents and grandparents will have already made plans to be at the school for Field Day and will stay late or come early to donate blood.

All family, friends and community members are encouraged to give blood. You need not have a student at the school to attend. The school might receive scholarship money for teachers, depending on the number of donors at the blood drive.

JoAnn Schiller, school counselor, will be scheduling appointments in advance so you may donate at the time that is most convenient for you. Drop-ins are also welcome,

For more information, call Schiller at 301-766-8079.
