Angel Food order deadline



WILLIAMSPORT -Angel food orders will be taken from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 30 E. Salisbury St. Orders must be made on-site and prepaid using cash, money order or food stamps. Credit card orders will be accepted by going online to www.rehobothumc.org .

Heifer Global Village opening



SHARPSBURG -Shepherd's Spring Inc., a Maryland retreat center and summer camp owned by the Mid-Atlantic District Church of the Brethren, will celebrate the grand opening of its Heifer Global Village, 16869 Taylors Landing Road from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9. Visitors can tour the homes at Heifer Global Village at Shepherd's Spring, as well as meet farm animals and sample traditional foods from around the world. World Fair Trade Day



Ten Thousand Villages in Hagerstown invites the public to celebrate World Fair Trade Day Saturday, May 9. A local drumming group will lead a drumming demonstration from 10 a.m. to noon.
