Gary J. Baker, 56, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 2, 1952, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Warren D. and Esther V. (Snyder) Baker.
He was a 1971 graduate of Williamsport High School.
He previously had worked for Antietam Paper Co. in Hagerstown.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed deer hunting.
Gary is survived by four sisters, Esther D. Baker of Hagerstown, Lisa M. Cunningham of Martinsburg, W.Va., Coreena M. McAllister of Sharpsburg and JoLina K. Orndoff of Clear Spring; two brothers, Warren D. Baker of Hagerstown and Terry L. Baker of Clear Spring; and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
