Madeline M. Armstrong, 82, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 21, 1926, in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David W. and Ida (Carter) Ausherman.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Armstrong.
Madeline is survived by two daughters, Donna L. Pompell of Hagerstown and Anna M. Kinzer of Spring Mills, W.Va.; one sister, Gertrude Morningstar of Hagerstown; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James H. Armstrong Jr.; and one brother, David W. Ausherman Jr.
