May 03, 2009

The Kiwanis Club's annual father and son 18-hole golf scramble will be held Sunday, June 28, at 1:30 p.m. at Beaver Creek Country Club.

The cost is $150 per team. The two-person team can consist of any combination of parent, child, grandfather, in-law, or "step" relation, male or female. If not related, you can "adopt" your teammate. If so, there must be at least a 20-year difference in age.

Play is from tee normally used for established handicap or average score. Otherwise, men age 16 and older play from white, men age 65 and older play from gold, ladies and boys (15 and younger) play from red.

The tournament will be flighted by handicap/average score.

Prizes will be awarded by place of finish in each of four flights.

Proceeds benefit local youth programs sponsored by Hagerstown Kiwanis.
