CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Hagerstown Suns blew a four-run lead before using a home-run ball late to down West Virginia 6-4 on Friday night.
The Suns scored twice with two outs in the top of the eighth inning.
Robbie Jacobsen singled on a bunt swing and Steven Souza smacked his first homer of the season to left, giving the Suns the lead.
It was protected by Carlos Peralta, who pitched two innings of relief to save Patrick Arnold's win.
The Suns jumped to a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a sacrifice fly by Derek Norris that scored Nick Arata. They took a 4-0 lead in the third -- highlighted by the long ball.
Arata and Steve Lombardozzi each walked to open the inning and Norris slammed a three-run homer off Power starter Duke Welker.
