Antionette Ayers joins massage center

Antionette M. Ayers has joined The Bodyworks Massage Center as a licensed massage therapist.

Ayers is a graduate of the New York Institute of Massage and is certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.

A professional member of Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Practitioners, Ayers practices Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, prenatal, hot stone, and on-site seated chair massage for businesses and special events.

The Rev. Dr. David Baker receives certification

The Rev. David C. Baker, Ph.D., director of spiritual care services at Washington County Hospital, recently received advanced certification as a diplomate in Clinical Pastoral Education by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP).


To achieve status as Diplomate, Baker completed two years of clinical pastoral education followed by several years of supervised work in providing pastoral education.

The department of spiritual care provides pastoral presence, care, counseling, prayer, support groups, classes, religious rituals, and worship opportunities.

The mission of the department of spiritual care is to provide spiritual support and promote a healing environment within the hospital.
