Three suffer major injuries in Pa. 16 crash

GREENCASTLE, Pa. -- Three people suffered major injuries in a three-car crash on Pa. 16 Sunday afternoon near Talhelm's gas station in Antrim Township, said Pennsylvania State Police.

Daniel Thorpe, 20, of Maugansville, and Susann Lahr, 19, of Maugansville, who were riding in a Hyundai Elantra, had major injuries, police said.

The Elantra was being driven by Thomas J. Scott, 28, of Chambersburg, police said. He suffered minor injuries.

Charles E. Dixon Jr., 45, of Greencastle, the driver of a Pontiac Montana, also had a major injury, police said. Also in Dixon's car was Nathan Dixon, 8.

The third vehicle, a Ford Windstar, was driven by Harry E. Ricker, 39, of Greencastle, police said.

State police did not say in a news release where the injured were treated following the 3:40 p.m. crash.
