Kindergarten classes at St. Mary Catholic School witnessed first-hand the life cycle of a chicken.
With much excitement and anticipation, the students have been caring for chicken eggs in an incubator for the past three weeks. They carefully watched, learned and nurtured the new chicks to life.
After the chicks hatched, the students had the opportunity to hold them. What better time for the students to go through this life-giving process than at the Easter season when they also learn about the new life in Christ.
